If the item does not ship within the time stated (and you do not agree on a new ship by date with the artist), you can take advantage of buyer protection.
Awful customer service. I placed an order in December 1, 2020 and the item was scheduled to ship to me January 5, 2021. I have not received the item and sent three messages asking for an update however he has not responded. I filed a dispute with PayPal so I can get a refund of the order.
